If anyone is in need of food we welcome you to our food drive!

The Food Pantry at Central has been committed to fulfilling community member's grocery needs since the start of the pandemic. Food is a requirement for survival and no one should ever go without a basic need. It is our mission to serve our community with dignity, compassion and love. LOVE ALL. 

Facilitating the Nutritional Well being of our Community

  • The Food Pantry serves over 1,200 people a month (currently the largest Pantry in Mobile County)!  
  • It takes 30-40 volunteers to facilitate the Pantry and we love to involve new folks!  
  • We receive donations (at a small cost) from Winn Dixie in our Neighborhood, Publix and Feeding the Gulf Coast. 
  • We also accept donations from community members, churches and organizations.
  • We prioritize fresh fruits and vegetables and meats in order to provide highly nutritious food. 
    • Many of the Community Gardens in Midtown Mobile contribute produce for the Pantry.
    • We work with Feeding the Gulf Coast and Local Farmers to provide as much fresh produce as possible.  (It's not unusual for clients to leave with 50 lbs of food!
