Who We Are
This is Central. In the world we live in, we have simply come to the conclusion that we are a group and a building dedicated to the idea that every person, every creature, all creation is worthy of honor and respect, and worthy of deep love. We both celebrate and strive to increase our diversity, in all ways holding fast to being challenged by God's desire for us to live in mutual care and compassion, seeking justice for everyone across all spectrums. LOVE ALL.
We strive to be compassionate in our food distribution by being kind and not judge anyone that is in need
What We Do
The Pantry started in 2005 with humble beginnings and has grown to serve over 1,500 families / 6,000 people in Mobile each month. We are faithfully striving to fulfill those weekly needs with our Tuesday Food Distribution. We also provide food delivery services to the Dearborn YMCA Senior Program, Cathedral Place Apartments, group homes and home bound individuals We are here to serve our community with love and compassion. Our goal is to provide fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and grains to those in need. Donations: We receive donations of food from local grocery stores, community gardens, and the general public. Canned meats, peanut butter, sugar, flour, and breakfast foods are well received. Most of our food is purchased from Feeding The Gulf Coast, so monetary donations are what make the greatest impact on our ability to provide quality, nutritious food to our clients. For a $1 (one dollar) donation we are able to buy 8 ½ lbs. of fruits, vegetables, and meats from Feeding the Gulf Coast to give out each week. Volunteers: We love our volunteers and without them, Love All Pantry would not be the success it is. Not only do we need people to give out food on the days the pantry is open but also to help with jobs behind the scenes such as fundraising, marketing, and networking.
