The Archaeology Museum is seeking volunteers to help with educational activities for 3rd and 4th graders from 8:15 am - 11:15 am on Friday, Nov 1. Please arrive at the Museum around 8:15 am to get started. Reminder emails will be sent out the week prior.
Examples of needs are:
1. Walking Tour Guides. The tour is from the Museum to the Bell Tower and back again with a group of 20-25 students 3-4 times. The script, covering the history of the Bell Tower and campus historic buildings, is provided as well as a headset to amplify your voice.
2. Artifacts Tell A Story Activity
4-5 helpers are needed for Artifacts Tell A Story Activity where each helper will sit at a table with students and engage them in storytelling.
3. Front Porch Sidewalk Chalk and wooden toys
3-4 helpers are needed to engage students with sidewalk chalk and play with wooden toys
