The City of Mobile Parks & Rec are looking for college students and professionals to volunteer at our monthly STEM event!
At this event, K-12 students will engage in hands-on activities designed to teach participants what it takes to create a structurally sound building design that can be replicated in the real world. Participants will build and test their own grade-appropriate wooden structure to take home!
College student volunteers will be given a $50 prepaid stipend for their time and assistance at the event. Please note that University of South Alabama students wishing to have their time count toward volunteer service hours should opt out of receiving the prepaid gift card.
