Description

  • The event will take place Friday, March 1, 2024

  • Time: 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon

  • Read Aloud to an elementary class of students. display pictures so students can see

  • Address: John Will Elementary School 5750 Summit Avenue Mobile, Alabama 36608 (251) 221-1750

  • Volunteers are required to sign in at the front office utilizing a state issued ID (example-driver's license)

  • Volunteers are asked to sign in at the school library on the South Serves Kiosk provided

  • Parking is available in the front of the school and in the staff parking lot. 

  • Volunteers may dress up in character (not required).

  • Volunteers may bring their own grade/age/topic/length appropriate books or utilize Dr. Seuss books from the media center. The school library is located near the front entrance. You can see it from the front door.

  • For read alouds picture books that are not too wordy work best

  • Volunteers are free to leave after reading to their assigned class
