Mobile County Probate Court, Board of Registrars, and the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice will host an information session and mock election for South students and area high school seniors. Volunteers are needed to work as poll workers in the Student Center Ballroom, under the supervision of county officials. Tasks may include instructing visitors where to line up to vote, when to approach the voting booth, what items are not allowed in the booth, and where to proceed after voting, and operating election equipment.
In addition to their volunteer shift, volunteers must attend the mandatory information and training session on Thu., Feb. 1, from 9 - 11 a.m. When responding to this need, please sign up for the training session (Feb 1, 2024 at 9:00am for 2.00 hours) AND a volunteer shift.
