Join the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute, the American Cancer Society, and thousands of others throughout the country supporting lung cancer awareness and encouraging friends and family to quit, if only for just one day. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the US each year, exceeding the number of deaths due to breast, colon and prostate cancers combined. Volunteers will share information on cessation resources, local counseling services, and provide encouragement for those brave enough to take the pledge.
