Hello! Thank you for choosing to volunteer with the Trick or Treat Party hosted by USA Pre-Occupational Therapy Club and USA Department of Recreation and Wellness. This event is held on October 21st from 4:30-8:00PM at the USA Intramural Fields, volunteers are expected to stay from set-up at 4PM till breakdown at 8PM. This event is for Mobile community members affected by disabilities, along with their families and caretakers. There will be trick-or-treating, activities, games, and music to help create a fun environment!
Each club and organization will have their own parking spot/area to set up, and clubs are encouraged to bring their own fold-out table if they are able to! Each organization is responsible to bring their own candy and table halloween decorations (the more the better we plan on having many Mobile community members coming to this event) and volunteers are encouraged to dress up in appropriate costumes! EVERY VOLUNTEER MUST BRING A BAG OF CANDY!!!!!!!!!!! If you plan to volunteer, you need to fill out the following google form- https://forms.gle/Zsqbt2ZmgbvQCBbm9 - or you will not receive hours.
Accessibility and inclusion is important to us! That being said, we will have a low sensory time from 4:30-5:30PM for any individuals who are easily overwhelmed or feel more comfortable with low-volume music, less people, and quieter games. Please keep this in mind.
