The USA Office of Community Engagement is hosting a day of service for the Friends of the Mobile Public Library. On Thursday, March 23, volunteers will be helping set up for their annual book sale, which supports the Mobile Public Library and its programs. Volunteers may be asked to help with moving and opening boxes, sorting books, and straightening and displaying books, among other things.
This day of service is scheduled for March 23, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., and transportation will be provided. Lunch will also be provided. Please include in the Notes field of your need response if you have any dietary restrictions.
We'll meet at The Fresh Food Company (6351 Tonsmeire Dr., Mobile) at 12 p.m. for lunch and then head over to Abba Shrine (7701 Hitt Rd, Mobile), where we'll start volunteering at 1 p.m.
