Springboard To Opportunities is in need of 6-10 Community Garden assistants to help with our Community Garden program for the residents at Dauphin Gate apartment complex.
Volunteers (6-10) can expect to come and assist with discussing tips for the garden and assist if they choose with planting (must wear mask and have Covid-19 Vaccination).
The Community Garden program is basically where residents will help plan and plant a community garden that will be cared for throughout the year by residents. Children will help care and tend for the garden as needed as well.
Volunteers can expect to work in a group once a month afternoon from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The activities will be outside, so you are asked to wear comfortable attire. The schedules can be individually adjusted to fit what is comfortable for the volunteer and we welcome any "bright ideas" and thank you for any and all help in making impact in the apartment community.
