The J.A.W.S. (Jazz Art Writers South) Festival at USA Libraries is seeking volunteers to help with two events--an author meet & greet and a cultural talk & film event--on Thursday, May 19th, from 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for the following:

Assist authors from their vehicles into the venue

Assist authors with setting up tables (this may involve lifting boxes or materials)

Welcome people to the event and sign them in
- Provide directions to the auditorium, the elevators, and the exhibit spaces

Serve popcorn to guests
-
Clean up after a film (sweeping, trash pick-up)
Volunteers are asked to check in at the Marx Library circulation desk upon arrival.
