Join Mobile United's Natural Resources Committee and the Mobile City Council for an outdoor day of service on Saturday, January 15, 2022. This year, we will be expanding the clean-up by offering a site in each of the seven city council districts. We are encouraging the public to participate in the clean-up being held in their district (site locations and partners are listed below). The purpose of the event is to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by inspiring citizens to give back to the community. As Mobile United celebrates 50 years of impacting change in 2022, the organization hopes to engage citizens throughout all communities of the city in this clean-up. Event partners include the Mobile City Council, Alabama Coastal Foundation, Dog River Clearwater Revival, Mobile Baykeeper, Keep Mobile Beautiful, Osprey Initiative, Revitalize DIP, and Groundwork Mobile County.
