United Way of Southwest Alabama and the organizations of Mobile County VOAD will be holding a Hurricane Ida Resource Fair for evacuees and others in our area who need storm-related assistance.
We're looking for volunteers who can:
- Direct people from the parking area to the event itself.
- Direct people to the different stations based on the resources they need.
- Serve as runners for the event.
The resource fair will take place on September 23 and 24 from 7-11 AM at Central Presbyterian Church. Please respond to this need if you are interested and available to help, and we'll be sure to share all the details with you. You may choose to respond to the Thursday shift, the Friday shift, or both shifts as your availability allows.
