Hello Volunteer! 

Join us May 8th at Tricentennial Park with partners such as The Fuse Project and The City of Mobile for our Trash Free "Water's Day" Apple Snail Roundup! We will have multiple routes for you to do your part on our two Sites. 

Site 1: Tricentennial Park (2121 Lake Dr, Mobile, AL 36617)

Route #1 will in the water along Three Mile Creek, so if you have your own Kayak/Canoe this would be a great time for you!

Route # 2 will be walkable from Tricentennial Park and covers part of Staton Rd and Pleasant Ave.

Site 2: Mobile Public Libary ( 601 Stanton Rd, Mobile, AL 36617 )

Route # 3 will be along Staton Rd and Mobile St. 

There will be site leaders and multiple maps to help direct you where you ned to go!

When: May 8th, 2021 
Check in: 8:00 a.m.
Cleanup: 8:20-11:00 a.m. 
Where: 2121 Lake Dr, Mobile, AL 36617 ( Tricentennial Park ) 
 
What we will provide:
- Water coolers for refillable water bottles ( will have reusable cups )
- Pickers, safety vests, gloves, and garbage bags.
- Bug spray and sunscreen
- First aid kit
 
What we encourage volunteers to wear and bring:
Masks are required (required at registration and safety debriefing but can be removed once clean-up starts and volunteers are spread out); please practice social distancing and COVID safety precautions at all times.
- Comfortable, warm clothes and closed-toe shoes that you do not mind getting wet and dirty.
- Refillable water bottles
- If volunteers have their own kayaks and canoes, that would be great!
