The Alabama Kidney Foundation is hosting our annual Mobile Kidney Walk to benefit people who battle with kidney disease. We are hosting it this year at UMS Wright Preparatory School on May 1, 2021. We need volunteers who would love to come out and help set up for the days of April 30th and May 1st. Physical labor is involved such as setting up decorations, putting up signs, put up and take down tents, tables, and chairs. Unpacking and packing up the supplies. We also need volunteers for check in's, work registration, and cover the t-shirt and prize tables.
We will have four shifts in total to sign up for. The first shift is for April 30th from 4-5:30 pm. On the day of the event on May 1st, there are three different shifts. The 1st shift is 7-9 am. 2nd shift 9-11:30am. 3rd shift 11:30am-12:30pm
We have in place COVID-19 preparations recommended by the CDC such as social distancing, wearing a mask, and hand sanitizer will be provided.
