Volunteers are invited to read virtually to John Will Elementary students in honor of Read Across America Day 2021. This virtual event will take place March 2, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The virtual meeting room link will be provided via e-mail. Please use your South Alabama e-mail address when signing up. Reading times are set in 15-minute blocks of time. Readers may select one or more time slots to read. Books will be provided by Will Elementary. Volunteers are welcome to use their own book and may dress up as book characters, although it is not required. If you utilize your own book, be sure that the students can see the pictures clearly on the screen. Read-aloud tip: speak clearly and loud enough so that the students can hear you.
