Volunteers will:
- Box nonperishables
- Box fresh fruits and vegetables
- Sort boxes into groups for distribution
- Set room of for distribution
Mask wearing is required at all times. Gloves (ASL to provide) are required when handling produce.
We follow the CDC guidelines for community organization gatherings and promote social distancing. We ask that you stay home if any of the following apply to you:
- Volunteers should stay home if they have tested positive for or are showing COVID-19 symptoms.

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.
- Volunteers who have recently had a close contact with a person with COVID-19 should also stay home and monitor their health.
