Hosts are needed to greet participants, offer directions, and provide general support to organizers at the MLK 2020 Week of Unity and Service screening of Selma: The Bridge to the Ballot, which will be held in the Student Center Terrace on the USA campus.
When: Thursday, January 16, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: USA Student Center Terrace
What: A film screening of Selma: The Bridge to the Ballot, the story a courageous group of students and teachers who, along with other activists, fought a nonviolent battle to win voting rights for African Americans in the South. A discussion to follow the movie.
Who: Any students, staff, and faculty are invited to help out.
