The Alabama Coastal Foundation is hosting a Baldwin County Water Festival at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale to educate 4th graders about our gulf coast and water resources. About 700 4th graders will be attending from schools across the county.
This countywide watershed education program include hands-on activities, such as a water relay and working with model ecological restoration (wetland & floodplain management) model watersheds which teach students about watershed management, water quality protection and the interconnectedness of our coastal way of life. Volunteers are needed to make this event a success.
Volunteer activities include: orientation, and leading one of three activities for the students.
