Help us bring this year’s Homecoming spirit to life through collaborative pomping. No experience is needed. Our staff will provide all materials, instructions, and guidance. This is a fun, social way to meet other Jaguars, contribute to a campus tradition, and leave your mark on Homecoming week! The final display will be showcased at the Homecoming football game outside of the stadium.
Pomping will take place at the Student Involvement suite on the bottom floor of the Student Union.
Task: Volunteers will assist with all parts of the pomping process, including:
Folding and shaping tissue paper into small “pomps”
Pushing pomps through holes in chicken wire to create colorful designs and patterns
Applying spray adhesive to help secure the tissue and ensure the display lasts through the week’s festivities
