The Black Student Union's 9th Annual Black Girls Rock: Jaguar Edition Scholarship & Award Gala is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the set-up and take-down of the philanthropic event on February 7th, 2025 in the Student Center Ballroom.
The Black Girls Rock initiative was established to enhance our civic duty by giving back, encouraging, and supporting students from our targeted high schools in their pursuit of higher education. Numerous scholarships to both aspiring high school young women and several college students along with the recognition of community leaders along with faculty and staff members that have made an impact at The University of South Alabama.
Volunteers will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this special evening. Responsibilities include arranging decorations, organizing seating, assisting with the event, and breaking down the setup after the event concludes.

*3.5 hour shift is for event workers who should arrive promptly at 5:30pm on Friday: Escorts, Servers, Check in table, Door attendants*
