This event will be hosted jointly by the Biology Student Association (BSA) and the Common Read Committee.
On October 31, 2024 students will meet at Earth and Life Science (ELSB) Room 222 at 3pm to go get pumpkins.
On November 1st at 9am, students will meet at Earth and Life Science (ELSB) Room 222 to load up supplies.
On November 1st at 2:30PM, students will meet at Earth and Life Science (ELSB) Room 222 to finish loading supplies.
On November 2nd for all slots, students will meet at the University of South Alabama Community Garden which is managed by the Biology Student Association. The coordinates are 30.693975, -88.194157 for the garden and it is near the intramural field bathrooms.
At each time, students will be moving supplies or setting up at the garden in preparation for the event. From 3-5:30PM on Nov 2, we will host the event and there will be a pumpkin painting station, an apple cider station, lawn games, and a fruit nacho bar with apples, other fruits, and toppings.
