The City of Mobile Parks & Rec proudly presents STEM Mobile, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, and we need you to volunteer! Your participation will help make this event a success. Volunteers will be able to engage with participants in hands-on activities and inspire young minds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Participants will Build and Test their own Mechanical Heart!
This month STEM will be held at the Harmon-Thomas Community Center
Located at: 1611 Belfast St. Mobile Al. 36605
Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8 am for a brief orientation.
Undergraduate college students who sign up in advance and remain until the end of the event can receive a $50.00 stipend.
(Students who attend the University of South Alabama and wish to have their volunteer hours counted towards their schooling can forfeit their stipend)
Once registration is complete, you will receive additional communications with the information you need for the event.
