The Office of Community Engagement and Student Government Association host an annual Welcome Letter Campaign as a way for upperclassmen to welcome our incoming freshmen and transfer students.
This year, in addition to our standard submission process, we'll be hosting a drop-in letter writing event on Friday, August 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feel free to stop by the Community Engagement office in the Student Center (ste. 240) during this timeframe to join us in creating/writing letters of welcome and encouragement for our incoming students. Letter writing/decorating supplies will be provided.
Up to 30 minutes of volunteer service per unique welcome letter can be approved in South Serves. Hours will be assessed based on the amount of visible effort put into the notes/letters.
