The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program prepares free tax returns for people with household incomes of $60,000 or less, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and people with limited English-speaking proficiency.
Although the regular tax season is over, we continue to prepare returns and meet with clients on a limited schedule.
Our next tax day is Wednesday May 24 in West Mobile. During these tax clinics, all meetings are by appointment--no walk-ins please. To make an appointment, please call our appointment scheduling hot line at 251-219-0606.
Please note the following:
- We can prepare tax returns for tax years 2017-2023.
- We will talk with you first to determine how much time we need to reserve for you, and second to make sure that your return falls within the scope of what we're trained to do based on IRS guidelines.
We will add future dates as long as there is need and there are volunteers to serve, so if you need the service but can't make this next date, watch this space for future sessions.
