Mega-Musical Chairs is coming back to the University of South Alabama bigger and better than ever before! The fundraiser where YOU play for YOUR charity! Not only will the fundraiser allow players to enjoy themselves by playing a competitive game of musical chairs, but it will also foster friendly competition and philanthropic engagement between some of the campus’s biggest organizations.
ALL proceeds of the fundraiser go to the WINNER’S non‑profit charity of choice! You may wonder, “Why not play for one philanthropy rather than letting the winner choose the charity?” The ideology behind the fundraiser is to underscore an understanding that adversity and exploitation are ongoing international problems. Through this event, we hope to educate students on the duties and obligations required of all future leaders while also teaching them vital lessons on cultural competency and international issues.
Mega Musical Chairs is sponsored by Alpha Epsilon Delta (the largest student organization on campus with over 400+ active members), and was awarded the prestigious international award for Student Driven Program of the Year at the 2016 ACUI Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA. In 2018, Mega-Musical chairs raised over $6,000 dollars! Join us and sit down for charity.
