Mobile Area Special Olympics:
Track and Field event showcases over 400 Special Olympians from the Mobile area competing in a wide variety of events ranging from 4/100 relays to shot put and javelin. Each May the Mobile Area sends a delegation to the State Special Olympics in Troy, AL to compete in Track and Field, Bowling, Bocce, Equestrian, Swimming, Gymnastics and Cheerleading. This is their qualifying event!! We will have athletes from all around Mobile County Public Schools.
We need volunteers! Athlete chaperones, event timers, measurers, event organizers, staging area workers, event communication, and more! We will work with you for class credit! Volunteering for 4/10/2026 Track & Field Event:
Location: Davidson High School: 3900 Pleasant Valley Road, Mobile AL 36609
There will be signs and volunteers assisting with parking day of event.
Time: 7:30-12:30/1pm
