Who We Are
The University of South Alabama Sustainability Committee was formed to improve sustainability and resiliency around the campus of South Alabama.
What We Do
We increase the availability of on-campus recycling options, and promote effective environmental stewardship and foster an engaged student body that is educated and knowledgeable about sustainability issues. We work with Campus Recycling, the Community Garden (located behind the Jag Tran Transportation Center), Food Recycling and Food Recovery Programs. The Sustainability Council also promotes education through events like Earth Month in April.
