Who We Are

Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at the University of South Alabama works to develop young men into leaders. By serving people with disabilities, we hope to instill a life-long commitment to activism, and volunteerism. Our national fraternity created its own philanthropy in 1977 and it is The Ability Experience. Through The Ability Experience we are able to draw on nation-wide resources to assist locally. We consistently win top awards for community service, both at the national and university level.

What We Do

The young men take time out of their schedule to volunteer for local organizations that help children and adults with disabilities in the Mobile, Alabama, area. Through the fraternity’s philanthropy The Ability Experience, and by partnering with Alabama Children’s Rehab Services, Alabama Independent Living Services, Goodwill-Easter Seals, The Mulherin Custodial Home, and others. These young men truly impact local families in need.
