USA Epsilon Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is a nonprofit sorority consisting of over 300,000 international members. Our purpose is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of service to all mankind. 

For more than a Century, our Sisterhood has served as the Foundation for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., to be an indomitable force for good-- in our communities, states, nation and the world.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is dedicated to implementing programs of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national, and international communities. For 2022-2026 we have Six initiatives: Strengthen Our Sisterhood, which serves as our "Foundation Initiative" as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission. The remaining five initiatives serve as "Program Initiatives" which include: Empower our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice and Uplift our Local Community.
