TAPS Drill

We are a group of first responders who serve as the Black Hats Honor Guard. We are also a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

We provide mentorship to children in all 14 Mobile County Public Middle Schools who are enrolled in the Leadership Officers Training Corps (LOTC). We teach drill and ceremonies, host drill competitions, donate uniforms, mentor children, teach flag etiquette, patriotism and serve as caring, adult role models. The LOTC program also contains robotics, physical fitness and drone components. We provide funeral services for fallen military and first responder veterans and provide training for first responder honor guards.
