Who We Are
Hospitality and tourism management is the genuine warm welcome, friendly reception and treatment extended to guests through accommodations, prepared food and beverage services, entertainment, events, recreation and retail. The field covers a broad spectrum of business sectors within the service industry. The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the College of Education and Professional Studies prepares students to become leaders in the fastest growing industry in the world.
What We Do
Students at South can earn a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management and participate in academic, observational, situational and experiential settings to meet program competency requirements in operation and service management, financial and human resource management, global leadership, and personal and professional career development.
