Who We Are
The Cookery Project seeks to improve food literacy in our community through culinary experiences and food education. Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, The Cookery Project partners with local state agencies, nonprofit organizations, Title 1 schools, and culinary professionals to develop a comprehensive approach to improving food literacy.
What We Do
The Cookery Project is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to food literacy, and life skills training to economically disadvantaged children and adolescents as well as youth with disabilities in South Alabama. The mission is to engage and empower our youth through food sourcing, nutrition education, and culinary experiences.
