Who We Are

The South Alabama Student Occupational Therapy Association (SASOTA) is a student led organization consisting of current occupational therapy students at the University of South Alabama. We are affiliated with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the Alabama Occupational Therapy Association (ALOTA). 

What We Do

  • Educate the public and other health professions about Occupational Therapy
  • Develop and maintain relationships between the Occupational Therapy Department, the community, and professional organizations
  • Provide mentorship
  • Provide an outlet for occupational therapy students
