City of Mobile Office of Supplier Diversity

The City of Mobile's Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) oversees certification, compliance, training, outreach and capacity building for the City of Mobile Equal Business Opportunity Programs. OSD is dedicated to creating and implementing programs, policies and procedures that assist minorities, women, service-disabled veterans and small businesses with gaining greater access to procurement opportunities and resources to build competitively viable and sustainable businesses in and for the City of Mobile.

The City of Mobile's Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) holds a variety of programs with various community partners such as the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, Mobile Area Black Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center at the University of South Alabama, Bishop State Community College, and others to educate and help businesses and entrepreneurs at various stages of development. With Financial workshops, project management courses, and soft skills training, OSD does its best to educate and connect people to proper resources.
