The 2023 Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Marine Mammal Symposium (SEAMAMMS) will take place Friday, March 17th, through Sunday, March 19th, in “The Home of Mardi Gras,” Mobile, Alabama. The event will be hosted by the School of Marine & Environmental Sciences, SoMES, at the University of South Alabama.
The SEAMAMMS is a long-standing, regional, scientific marine mammal meeting that is open to all presenters, with an emphasis on undergraduate and graduate students. The SEAMAMMS serves as an excellent and encouraging platform for students to present their research and network with colleagues and experts in the marine mammal field.
We are in need of volunteers to assist with the conference. Volunteers will receive free admission to the conference. This is an excellent networking opportunity as well as a chance to build your resume/CV with service hours.
