Friday, June 7 is THE DAY, and it starts EARLY!! 150 golfers are joining together with GREERS and GOODWILL EASTERSEALS to help children and adults live better lives! Our job is to take great care of those golfers, by cooking breakfast, getting snacks onto their carts, organizing door prizes, and having a little fun ourselves! Here is a run-down of the day:
6 am arrival at Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove golf course
--grill sausages, load golf carts with bags of goodies, assist with set up (signs, tables)
8 am shotgun start
--hole watchers begin, other volunteers set up door prizes, clean up from breakfast, and spell each other as hole watchers throughout the tournament.
12:30 to 1:30 Lunch Begins
--all volunteers are welcome to join us for a catered lunch on the field house porch.
--immediately after lunch, take down all signage, pack up remaining door prizes, snack bags, other belongings and load into truck
2:30 to 3 pm Event Ends
--once all belongings are loaded, volunteers may depart.
