By becoming a Rape Crisis Volunteer, you can help by assisting victims of sexual assault within our community. Volunteers are trained to accompany victims at the hospital immediately following the assault, answer crisis calls, accompany victims to meetings with court/law enforcement, assist and participate in community events and fundraising opportunities.
All potential volunteers are asked to attend a screening interview, which includes a background check. It is required and appreciated that each volunteer agrees to no less than one year of committed service. With your support, we can and will continue to provide these critical services on a 24/7 basis.
