FOMAS is buiilding a new dog kennel onsite at the City of Mobile Animal Shelter, located at 855 Owens Street, Mobile, AL 36604. In order to keep construction costs to a minimum, we are looking for volunteers to paint the inside and outside of the building.
The painting will take place on:
Friday, July 10, Saturday, July 11; Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18 from 6:30am-11am
We will prime and then paint a cinder block building inside and out. It's HOT, so the plan is to open the gate early, have folks on hand at 6:30 am and work until about 11. We need a few people that are comfortable working a paint sprayer (short tutorial provided) and others who can push a roller and climb ladders. We would like to have as many volunteers as possible to help get the painting done quickly.
All volunteers should be at least 18 years old.
