Do you want to help keep our campus clean? Do you like recycling? Will you already be attending The Harlem Globetrotters 100 Year Tour on February 2nd, or are you interested in seeing how the game ends?
Join the Green Jags at 8:30 PM at the Mitchell Center to help clean the stands and gather all recyclables form them - saving them from landfills!
We will be provided materials, such as gloves, sticks to pick up trash, and bags to clean the stands with, so you won’t have to get your hands dirty!
We will meet at the Entry 2 loading dock, please be there by 8:30 at the latest. If you need further guidance on where this is, please be sure to email us at greenjags@southalabama.edu or send a message on our GroupMe and we will be happy to help you locate it.
There will be a sign-in sheet to properly account for service hours. Even if you can't make it right on time, or stay the entire time, any help is welcome. Please note that showing up late may result in some difficulties locating the group, since we will no longer be at entrance 2. Be sure to connect with us ahead of time if you plan on showing up after the initial start time.
The duration of the cleanup is typically an hour once we get started, but we cannot start until the game comes to an end and those attending have left the stands.
For the safety of all involved, a waiver will be required. For those under 19, a legal guardian's signature is needed, and individuals 19 years old and above can sign the waiver for themselves.
Waivers will be provided upon arrival at the Mitchell Center.

Registration for this event closes the day after the cleanup to allow for last minute sign ups on the day of the cleanup.
