The City of Mobile Parks & Recreation is looking for volunteers for our STEM MOBILE event on Saturday, September 16, at B.C. Rain High School.
Saturday's event will engage K-12 students with fun activities that help them learn about water, levees, and the environment. Participants will build and test their own levees. All required materials will be provided when students arrive.
College student volunteers will be given a $50 prepaid Visa gift card for their time and assistance on Saturday, September 16, from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please note that University of South Alabama students wishing to have their time count toward volunteer service hours should opt out of receiving the prepaid gift card.
