A Kite Festival full of high-flying FUN for the entire community! We currently need volunteers to assist with these activities and to make this event a success.
Job Duties
-Parking Team A: will follow instruction of police officer to assist in parking in the field at BMP. 1 lead with walkie talkie to the entrance booth to communicate when parking is full on-site.
-Parking Team B: will be on standby for parking assistance at the overflow parking lot as needed.
-Entrance Team: One person clicking. One person checking credentials. Two police officers. Two people answering questions and giving guidance. Seated
-Staff Parking Team: Making sure only staff are coming/going. Assure the area is clear of guests. Redirect guests as needed. If one person needs to step away, this will still leave one person in the area.
-Food Truck/Port-o-Let Team: These individuals will direct guests as needed. Consistently check on the conditions of port-o-lets. Radio for trash emptying as needed. Ensure safety of the area around the food trucks.
-Show Kite Display Team: . Stand at each corner of the display area to ensure no guests enter. Ensure safety in the area. Direct guests as needed.
-Guest Flying Area Team: in each of the rectangles not being used by Chicago Kite to engage, direct, and ensure safety for the guest
