JagPantry June 2026 Shifts

Donor to Diner is a student organization that oversees the Food Pantry on campus at the Academic Services Center.  Volunteers sort donations, separate items based on expiration date, and organize items into categories like: protein, vegetables & fruits, soup, and miscellaneous. 

Volunteer Opportunities: 

• Multiple daily shifts of three hours between 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. The food pantry is located in the Meisler Hall, ste. 2130. On arrival, please check in with Ronie Langston in One Stop, ste. 2100.

Shifts are available and are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis.  You can sign up for any shift that fits your schedule by responding to this need, as long as there is an available spot open. You can still sign up for a slot that is full, but you will be put on a waitlist and be notified if your status changes. Only two people can volunteer at a time due to space constraints. Volunteer Contact:  usajagpantry@gmail.com 

Note from the Food Pantry Coordinator:  Because the pantry is new and collegiate food insecurity (hunger) is not well known, we also run advocacy campaigns to increase awareness of this issue and this new campus resource. We are working on establishing our online presence as well. Please check out our Facebook page and share with anyone who might be interested:   https://www.facebook.com/Donor-to-Diner-at-USA-801151586691968/   Many students use our pantry, but based on SGA's survey, there are many more students experiencing food insecurity that we are not yet reaching.  We send flyers and emails through various departments and campus organizations to help us spread the word.
