Volunteers at our facilities find rewarding opportunities that directly affect the healing process for our patients and often can relieve stress for their families. Volunteer openings are available at Children’s & Women’s Hospital, and University Hospital
Volunteer commitment is a once a week 4 hour
shift same day/time every week for 6 months. You pick your day/time to work
around your schedule. The application details the health requirements and
application deadline date for each session. The link below will take you to the

Once the applicant completes the application they are invited to
attend an orientation. At orientation we discuss the volunteer service areas
and the available time slots for each area at both hospitals ( Children’s &
Women’s Hospital, University Hospital).
The volunteer selects their preferred service area of choice and
day/time of the week they are available. We then place the volunteers in their
desired area unless the requested day/time isn’t available. Basically, we try
and put the volunteer in the area they have requested unless the day/time
they need is already filled.
