As we prepare to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on January 18, 2021, we do so against a backdrop of great division in America. Now more than ever, the ideas that Dr. King so fervently believed in can be lessons for real and lasting change: equality, diversity, and love.

- Margie Tuckson, Tuckson Health Connections and University of South Alabama
- Minneisha Pettaway, University of South Alabama
- Anna-Cole “Coco” Eddleman, University of South Alabama
