The focus of the “ COACHEDUP Boys 2 Men Conference” is an effort to connect, engage and empower young men of color with engaging topics of discussion full of practical content and context. Our theme is "Don't Fear the Future, Shape It".
The conference is designed to benefit young men in grades 9-12 to not only attend the conference but also have the opportunity to receive a “Future Fund” scholarship award. Our goal is to provide a monetary award of $500 to a participant in each grade category (grades 9-12), for a total of $2,000 in scholarship awards after the conference.
- Volunteers arrive at 8:00
- Volunteers will greet, direct to seating, register attendees, assist in serving food (not preparing)
- No cleanup will be involved
- Assist with room setup and breakdown
- Assist with passing out conference materials
- Assist with attendee needs
