The 6th Annual King Cake-Off, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast, is back and better than ever! Local bakeries, eateries and grocery stores will compete to see who has the tastiest King Cake and King Cake-Inspired Treat on the Gulf Coast. This family-friendly event will take place on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm at the Mobile Civic Center Expo Hall and feature live music, local vendors, kids' activities, specialty cocktails, King Cake tastings, and more! Volunteers are needed to make this event a success! We need volunteers for the children's activities (bonus if you can face paint or do animal balloons), 360 Photo Booth, water station, voting, judging station, vendor assistance, event check-in, greeters, and break-down! You would need to arrive at the venue at 4:30pm and those who help with break-down at 7:00pm.
