We are looking for some helping hands that can join us in making a difference at our Gulf Coast Children’s Book Festival on May 8th from 9 AM – 1 PM at The Grounds in Mobile, AL.
This exciting event encourages Kindergarten to 5th-grade students to embrace reading through live book readings, author interactions, and book giveaways. To ensure its success, we are seeking volunteers to assist with various roles throughout the day.
Roles such as:
- Check-in & Registration – Greet attendees, distribute backpacks
- Treasure Chest Station – Distribute prizes for reading challenges
- Water Station – Keep children & guests hydrated
- Trading Post – Facilitate book exchanges
- Refreshments – Manage snacks/drinks distribution.
Once you sign up for the event, you will receive an Excel sheet to sign up for your preferred role and time slot.
