We are always on the lookout for volunteers. We welcome any age as long as children are accompanied by an adult. We have 30 residents with a wide range of abilities. You can be paired with an individual or a small group with similar abilities for a larger activity. We accept volunteers seven days a week from 9am to 5:30pm. The following is a list of a few of their favorite activities. Come have fun at Mulherin!
Arts & Crafts
Karaoke
Sprinkler/Water Toy Days
Trivia
Board Games/cards
Dance class (ballet & jazz)
Charades
Dance Parties or themed parties
Party games
Outdoor Games (we have a volleyball net, basketball goal, bowling games, cornhole, etc)
Treasure hunts (they are really good with basic riddle clues)
Scavenger Hunts
Spa day (foot soaks, peel off face masks, manicures, etc)
Story time
Drum/instrument circle (we have instruments)
Sensory Activities
They enjoy live music of any kind (choral, guitar/instrumental)
Yoga, stretching and low impact exercise.
