United Way of Southwest Alabama has a team of young adults coming to help with our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, courtesy of the National Civilian Community Corps. We have a place for them to stay, but it needs some attention before they arrive.
If you can assist with any of the following, please respond to this need. Multiple shifts are available, and if you can't stay for a whole shift, that's OK. We need all the help we can get. Projects include:
Repairing a couple of windows
Cleaning out (if you love throwing out stuff this could be the project for you)
Organizing the items in rooms
Laundry (sheets, bedding etc.)
Cleaning the house
